School Vouchers

Our community gathered to discuss the future of public education. Guest speakers Ohio House Representative & Minority Whip Beryl Brown Piccolantonio, along with Honesty for Ohio Education and Indivisible Central Ohio shared insights on EdChoice voucher expansion and its impact on public schools. 

Members reviewed key facts about private school vouchers, explored ways for New Albany-Plain Local Schools to join the statewide lawsuit against vouchers, and highlighted the importance of Democrats running for local school board positions. Attendees were encouraged to sign up for committees and to attend school board meetings to help keep the community informed.
